What's your heritage?

Ok, we're all Southern Americans, but do you know your origins? My mom has done extensive research. I'm German/Irish. She found some good info on our family. She discovered we immigrated to Dutch Fork, SC(Newberry, SC) from Europe.

Scott-Irish here also, Wilbanks came from Wilbank and Marchbanks family trees somewhere down teh line. My grandmother had done ALOT of research on teh family tree, and now my dad has all thats tuff.

part scandanavien (Knorr, my last name literally means "Warship" in norwegien)

part jewish (mother's maiden name is "Elias" as much as harrison ford, which apparently is enough to get mentioned in adam sandler songs)

part Austrian (somehow I'm supposed to be related to Shubert or so I'm told)
and some american indian so I've been told

your name fits! My gf's family came from Poland/Russia in the 30's - she still remembers her grandparents making perogy (sp?) and home-made sausage. She defines eastern european - natural curly blonde/blue eyes.

Mostly Irish, English and Scottish (roughly in that order). Next is Cherokee and then some smidgens of German, Dutch and probably Welsh.

I've traced my family name back through Ireland and even a possible migration to the isles via William of Normandy, which might explain why I think vikings are awesome and why I like Norwegian death/black metal.

my family hired some researcher to look into ours. 4 abercrombie guys came over on a boat a loooong time ago. 2 headed north, 1 out west, and 1 stayed around here. all of them are rich except for the slacker who stayed around here lol
