Those molding covers fit pretty good. I'll have to take a picture for you guys with them installed.

If you buy them use the clear silicone adhesive to install them, not the black RTV. The black has a tendency to heat up in the sun and release.;)

What I have done a few time with sucess is use a SEM high build primer 3or4 coats snad with 400 grit and finish with SEM trim black. It takes some time but looks better than any dumb bandaid cover.

No offence tony but they do suck. I have seen a hatch back with a set and it looked like:nanapoop: I was think about very thin layer of bondo but guess thats the wrong answer?

I guess i'm just picky. I would definately replace them.....don't want to band-aid mine because I still know what it looks like underneath!:twocents:

I used high build primer on mine. Keep in mind that you will lose the body line in the molding doing it this way. I have seen the stick on things and they look cheap to me.

We sell the Carlite OEM Notchback quarterwindows. They are full replacements. OEM. Has the "mustang" word in them as well.

if it was me, i would buy new one's. the high build 2K primer's work very well but you also need to use with some type flex agent. the "body line" can also be put back by using a " Checkering " tool. Tool used for enlaying checkering on Gun stock's; after spraying 4-5 coat's of the primer, just fasten a fence rail to run the checkering tool along side. :yes1:
