think that would be a good choice behind the seat and when on the strip i could take it out ez. I mean how good do they really sound tho?

My personal opinion on bass tubes is they suck!! I had one years ago and it was a horrible waste of money. Just pic up one 12" speaker in a box with about a 300-500 watt amp and you will be happy..

I'm not a big fan of bazooka stuff either. I would go with a 10" Solobaric L5, or something similar for better sound quality. It depends a lot on what kind of music you listen to as well. If you are set on taking it out to race and don't need the best sound then the bazooka will work.

Ok here's my two cents, I worked in the stereo industry for about ten years so I've kinda seen alot of different equipment over the years. These guys are really great for what you are trying to do. I myself would go with the powered 10" and nothing less. The 8" bottoms out way too soon but the 10" does for me. There are alot of other companies out there but stay with bazooka. Now like I said for what you are trying to do this works but you ain't gonna win a sound off or even bounce the windshield wipers either. With the internal amp you can take the sub, box and amp all in one shot out of the car. Would I buy one, maybe not because I like my tunes too much but then again one of my amps is three feet long too. You are trying to do this for the strip so it's a perfect thing for you and you found one of the best out there. 10" internal amp I what I would do in this case.

Oh crap I just looked and you posted a link to the six inch one. Stay away from that one, you will never hear it over your exhaust I'm sure. Do the powered 10 here's a link to what I'm talking about
