i think im about to put a 1990 fi motor in my car. i can get everything for free. any suggestions as far as computer and stuff? havent really torn down a 5.0 fi. im guessing ill have to have the comp and wiring harness? any suggestions are extremely appreciated.

Yep you'll need the harness & computer.

painless wiring kit would be easier on a 85 because the 90 harness I don't think will plug and play. That means you will have to trace and power the right wires. just my pennies:thumbsup1:

Might be cheaper just to get the harness out of a 90 stang.:brightidea:

So I can't run fuel injection without the wiring harness? So I'm guessing its gonna be a pain to get this fi motor in?

it is worth it not to pull the dash and that is a 20 year old harness.:doh1:
