A Parents Love

Well, my parents came up to Connecticut for a few days over the holiday weekend. They wanted to see this part of the country during the fall, and spend a few days together. I enjoyed it very much, and i think they did too.

Well being the loving parents they are, they drove the beater car up here (95 jetta, 2.0, 5 speed), left it here, and drove my fox body home.

well besides being weird to see your own car drive away from you, its kinda funny to see a 50 year old couple in a slammed, blacked out foxbody with loud exhaust and a big cam. especially at 8 in the morning stumbling through the chilly weather.

they made it to New Jersey before they got pulled over. Officer said it was the tinted license plate frame, but turns out hes a clemson fan and will be at the game this weekend. i think he just saw the clemson window sticker on a "sports car" and wanted to bullshit... prolly surprised the hell out of him to see an older couple driving the car and not some young punk kid... like me:D

Glad to hear you got to spend some quality time with your parents, and that pops didn't get a ticket in NJ. NJ cops are some of the worse in the USA.:yes1:

I never had a problem with my license plate cover but I did get in trouble for having black headlight covers on my car though.

lol thats like what happen to my dad like 3 weeks ago he had to go take my car to get the street slick put on and my dad got pulled as well the cop said the windows were to dark but i think he just want to see the car bc he didnt even get a a pink slip or anything dad said he just went on ab the car and kept asking ab the mods of it lol

Blacksheep...yeah, I got ticketed a few years back right there on Hwy 1 for one of those "illegal" covers! When you see me next time (at Kyles place maybe?), ask me and I'll get you the skinny. He was a real Barney Fife with the broad rim hat and all...what a joke.

I dont have covers on mine. no offence to any body that might have them, i think they look kinda tacky. Thats why i just went with smoked. That i way, i dont hafta worry about stopin the rain to take them off. But thats just me, again, no offence to who ever has them. I love my smoked headlights, the taillights to match my head lights are are commin soon. and with me havin a black car, black taillights (illeagal), a "smoked" plate cover, and 20% tint. o yea, im just gonna be beggin for a ticket. But hey, i dont care. Ive gotten pulled over for my headlights (among other things) and the state trooper who pulled me, knew my mom, as it turns out, he is the uncle to one on my friends who has a 92 red gt. So i told him, like dustin has the same head lights on his car. and he was like ****, they look so much darker on your car, and i was like no ****, cuz i have a black car. everything is gonna look darker........ DUH!!!!!!!!

O yea, if yall worry about smoked headlights, and the seein aspect of it, i dont worry about it, cuz my HID's are bright enough. even if i had high beams, i wouldnt need them. lol
