Which valve body?

Would like to purchase a new valve body, need advice. Heres a little about my car: 1991 GT all stock, 130k miles. Plans: budget street car that will do some daily driving, but serve as my hot rod/hobby car. It will have the drag look (big and littles), but will really be built to just run test and tune. It is not going to be an all out race car, but will lean toward straight line performance. Still want to be able to take the wife and kids out in it. However, I would like it to get sideways on command (without them of course).

I plan on adding 4.10 gear, 31 splines, e-cam, GT40P heads, Typhoon Intake and full length headers for starters.

What do I need? Can I leave the torque conv. alone for now? Does my tranny have too many miles on it? It seems to function fine as I don't believe it has ever been abused.
