any one ever hit it with a 175shot?

im thinking 24lb injectors 255 intank BBK or vortech inline... aeromotive rails and adjustable regulators...

prob have to go about 1 size up on the fuel side just to be safe...

I've seen them hit with WELL over 200. My ol' man shot his with 250 more than once. Ofcourse he would go through 2 or 3 before he found one that would take it. lol Thats the thing about stock SB's. One will take it, the next one wont. I dont think 175 should be a problem though.

I have Seen them hit with a 250 shot and high milage,And never break.
It is all about the air / fuel = Tune it safe,And enjoy
I agree with your pump question.
I run a 255 Internal Pump / 255 External Pump.
So if one dies,I am not running lean

It's all in the tune. If you can keep it out of detonation, it will physically hold the power. Look at what they do with turbo stock block setups.

that is very true.. if you can keep a motor out of detonation you will be surprised how long they will last .

i run 150 shot on a stock block for two years with a 190 pump. never had any prob. it had 5-6 passes every thurs night at shadyside and was driven down there and back. i think a 175 shot with bigger pump would be alright as long as your timing and fuel pressure are set right.

prob gunna start around 45lbs base fuel pressure and about 900 on the bottle timing around 10deg on 100oct.

if it's a wet kit, then long as you're running the correct size fuel jet then you should be okay. start with what they recommend from NOS/NX/whoever and go leaner from there. the 255lph pump should be plenty I would think!

what jet sizes? the N/F ratio is calulated just like A/F...there is a good range to run in, but you need the jet sizes and the pressures....50 lbs on the nitrous pressure will chage the N/F ratio....as a rule...2-3 degress retard per 100 hp...... HP of a shot is set by Fuel jet size and pressure...Lean/fat is set by nitrous pressure/jet size

mark knows! as a start, run stock fuel pressure and the nitrous/fuel jet sizes called for by the manufacturer's chart. pull 4* for 175 shot. I would think that would be a safe baseline to start. Right?
