precious memories my friend. 429 in my ole 68 short bed f100. could not pass a gas station and would vaporize the fuel so bad i would only make it a 1/4 mile at a time. Many a shredded tire. kinda wish i had that one back.

I estimate my car will get about five miles to the gallon with the 1100 dominator on it:lol1:

Once you get that bad boy tuned for the track I am betting on more like 5 gallons to the mile :lol1::yes1:

had a set of c9ve heads on it a local guy worked for me they were just 69 460 heads. he ported them and put stainless steel valves in them. it had a old port o sonic intake with a older barry grant 950 on it. dont remember what jets it had. went with a comp soild cant remember all the specs on the cam. i never dynoed the car.

I've got a set of C9VE heads but I was thinking of going aluminum for weight.

i met a guy about 10 years ago that was really big in the the big block fords. and he told me to go with the c9's or the d0ve heads. i thought and aluminum to but didnt really have the money at the time. im sure you already know this but valves are a must the stock valves are a 2 piece valve and will not hold up. so your gonna have to put some money in them but much cheaper than going with aluminum. just my .02 if you have the c9's i say run them. what kind of times are you looking to get out of it?? are you going to spary it??

I'd like to run high 10's with it. Im gonna build it to spray but Im gonna run it first without it but yeah eventually it will probably get a small shot.

Pops runs 3 inchers, x pipe and magnaflows on his 70 Torino Cobra (521 roller).....I dont care for the magnaflows- its too mild at idle and cruise. However, stab the throttle and it sounds like the gates of hell opening up :lol1:
