Why doesn't anybody want to come to Columbia for a get together ??? I'm sure the others in the area down here would like to have a "mass" gathering of the foxes one weekend instead of travelling to the upstate. It seems as though when ANY event or G2G is planned for the group to come to Columbia... automatically everyone gets too busy .. suddenly remembers they have plans or it's just too far.... the road goes both ways... we have made at least two trips to the upstate... and enjoyed it... members have driven over 200 miles to Mustang Week but it's too far to Columbia ??? What's up with that ? I realize gas might possibly be an issue, the rinky dink town I live in has gas... Lexington has gas... West Columbia and near about all of Columbia too.... the stations that are out are fewer and fewer..... Bones am I right with this and with saying everybody wants to do something together.... just don't want to go anywhere to do it.... I'm out of work with no immediate leads ....but we were planning to enjoy the family day and cruise to Fat Boy's with our friends in SEFB..... gas money and admission to the zoo....that's alot when there is little or no income... but we were going to do it..... I feel the pain of some others in the group that everybody wants to do something but won't ..... you can say I have a bad attitude about this but I'm just speaking my mind so don't hold it against me. Everyone has their opinions and I just expressed one of mine

Hanley bro, I feel your frustration man, really I do. And yes I know we (SEFB) need to make some trips to Cola town. I was looking forward to family day also my friend, but it was not in the cards. Yes I want a "MASS gathering" of foxes in Cola, and this is another reason we are holding off on family day..so more members will be able to attend! And your town home may have plenty of gas, BUT we need gas between here and there bro. Up here in the Upstate, SC and Western NC area gas is still hard to come by and mainly only 87 octane.

Here is an idea for you. When we started this club, our long term goal is to have chapter(S) in each southern state. Terry has started making this happen by starting the WNC Chapter. Why don't you and the Cola group get a mid state chapter going. There is NO REASON You, NOTCHED, Blacksheep, TwistedSS, RSW007 and others can not have cruise-ins and get togethers in and around Columbia. And I would love to see pictures of ya'll hanging out together some where. Ya'll can still do FatBoys, just get with everyone before hand and meet up somewhere, hang out a bit and then cruise in as a group and park together.

We will re plan Family Day for sometime in the Spring, and plan it to where most of our members will be able to attend. It's just that right now, money is getting tight for everyone, and Christmas is right around the corner also. So for now I see club members sticking to events close to their area, All I can ask is you and others understand this, and still go to events in your area and help spread the word about SEFB.:patriot:

I don't know the area so I will just throw out a suggestion here. Is there a mid point that you can meet at?

In between Columbia and Greenville/Spartanburg area there really isn't anything in between but a bunch of small small towns.

on the coast that miss events due to time and distance. I'd like to see if anyone from MB and Chastown would like to meet-up. Columbia guys could come also to N. Chastown or something like that - just an idea.
Gas has caused many people to cut-back on going-out in their own town.
And like Bonz said - Christmas is around the corner.
